PORT ANGELES — First Baptist Church of Port Angeles has installed the Rev. Bob Cameron as interim pastor following the resignation of Tim Hughes.
Cameron and his wife Vicki have recently moved to the area from Whatcom County.
First Baptist Church formed in Port Angeles in 1890. The church moved into its current sanctuary, located at 105 E. Sixth St., in 1939.
Hughes had served as the church’s pastor for the past 18 years.
Cameron will preside over worship services at 10 a.m. Sundays until the church completes its search for a new permanent pastor.
