PORT ANGELES — “America’s Librarian” and NPR books commentator Nancy Pearl will visit the Port Angeles Library at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Pearl will discuss her most recent book and first novel, “George & Lizzie,” at the library at 2210 S. Peabody St. After her presentation, Pearl will sign copies of her books, which will be available for purchase.
She also wrote “More Book Lust,” “Book Crush” and “Book Lust to Go.”
“Since the release of 2003’s best-selling ‘Book Lust’ and the Librarian Action Figure modeled in her likeness, Pearl has become a rock star among readers and the tastemaker that people turn to when deciding what to read next,” according to a press release.
In 2011, Pearl won the Librarian of the Year Award from Library Journal and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association.
