Clallam libraries to host book discussions in January

PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System (NOLS) hosts three Book Discussion Group meetings in January.

Everyone is welcome to join, each month or just dropping in on a session. Registration is not required.

Paperback copies of the titles will be available for pick up any time after the current month’s discussions at the Sequim Library, 63 N. Sequim Ave., or the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., on a first-come, first-served basis. Copies in other formats such as large print, book on CD and eBook may also be available to request through the NOLS catalog.

The January 2024 Book Discussion schedule includes:

• Second Wednesday Book Discussion Group — “The Sentence” by Louise Erdrich, 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, on Zoom; paperback copies available at Sequim and Port Angeles libraries.

• Second Saturday Book Discussion Group — “The Art of Racing in the Rain” by Garth Stein, 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.; paperback copies available at Sequim Library.

• Fourth Wednesday Book Discussion Group — “The Invoice” by Jonas Karlsson, 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, in the Carver Room at the Port Main Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.; paperback copies available at Port Angeles Library.
