Bazaar options range across Peninsula

Halloween is over, the air is wet with autumn rain and on the North Olympic Peninsula, the Christmas season has already begun.

A number of area organizations are hosting bazaars and fairs to start the coming holiday season:

PORT TOWNSEND

Holiday fair

PORT TOWNSEND — The Jefferson County Fair Association will host a holiday fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.

The association invites the public to this free event, which will help shoppers get a jump on their holiday season, at the fairgrounds, 4907 Landes St.

A wide variety of handmade and commercial gifts and stocking stuffers will be for sale.

Santa will be on hand for pictures from noon to 4 p.m.

SEQUIM

Holiday craft fair

SEQUIM — The Jamestown S’Klallam tribe will host its seventh annual Native and Non-Native Holiday Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Red Cedar Hall, the tribal community center.

The fair at 1033 Old Blyn Highway will feature 33 vendors selling handmade wares, a bake sale and raffles.

All proceeds of the bake sale and raffles will go to the tribal children’s program.

Frosty’s Flakes

SEQUIM — Frosty’s Flakes will host its third annual Holiday Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Pioneer Park.

Handmade crafts from local artisans will be featured at the bazaar at 387 E. Washington St.

The bazaar will take place rain, shine or snow.

Holiday bazaar

SEQUIM — Shipley Center will host a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Saturday.

Lunch will be available during the bazaar at 921 E. Hammond St.

PORT ANGELES

Flea market, bazaar

PORT ANGELES — A 35th annual flea market and bazaar will be held from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Proceeds will benefit the Port Angeles Senior & Community Center, 328 E. Seventh St.

Breakfast and lunch will be served.

Holiday house bazaar

PORT ANGELES — The United Methodist Women invite the public to a holiday house bazaar from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The bazaar will take place at the church, 110 E. Seventh St.

A luncheon of soup, chowder, sandwiches and pie will be served.

The bazaar will feature baked goods and home preserves, a gift showcase, a garden shop, See’s Candies, books and kids’ activities.

Christmas bazaar

PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Eagles Auxiliary No. 483 will host a Christmas bazaar from noon to 6 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Lunch will be available for purchase both days at the bazaar at 2843 E. Myrtle St.

Baked goods, handcrafted items, crotcheted items, jewelry, woodwork, birdhouses and other items will be for sale.

Holiday bazaar

PORT ANGELES — First Baptist Church will host a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Saturday.

Lunch also will be served at the bazaar at the church, 105 W. Sixth St.

There will be a quilt raffle, baked goods and jams, a plant sale, holiday gifts and decor, cookies and candies, and unique stocking stuffers.

There will also be direct sales vendors.
