I am writing to endorse the candidacy of Dr. Carleen Bensen for position 4 on the Olympic Medical Center Board of Commissioners.
As a physician, Bensen is in a unique position to be familiar with the medical needs of the residents of Clallam County as well as to be able to evaluate and prioritize the resources and requirements of the hospital.
Bensen has made her home in Port Angeles for 33 years and is well-known and respected by patients and hospital employees alike.
We need OMC to remain viable in our county, and we need Bensen to serve on the board to help make this happen.
