Don’t expect a positive breakthrough in Russia’s assault on Ukraine while Donald Trump is president.
Watching Trump since this Russian invasion began has been revealing. The day of Putin’s initial assault, Trump publicly blurted, “That’s brilliant!”
Now he’s president again, and he has done exactly nothing.
Meetings arranged then neither Putin nor Trump attend.
And the most disgraceful day I’ve ever seen in the Oval Office: Trump, J.D. Vance and their invited guest, an embattled democratically elected foreign dignitary seeking assistance, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
It’s become clear to me that Trump’s afraid of Putin.
We witnessed Trump praising Putin, again and again, then threatening something which ultimately never happens.
His obsequiousness to Putin is pitiful.
I’m betting that Putin, Russian intelligence, have some kind of dirt on Donald Trump. And I believe that dirt could destroy Trump, were it revealed.
I doubt Trump will ever do anything meaningful there, and I never believed Jeffery Epstein actually ended his own life while in jail.
After all, the person who likely had the most to fear if Epstein talked was, at that time, the most powerful person in the U.S.
