LETTER: Roundabout lighting

I am in complete agreement with the writer of a letter urging lighting at the roundabout at Sequim-Dungeness Way and Woodcock Road.

I find it to be very dangerous in the dark.

Other roundabouts are in the city and so are able to take advantage of the lights of businesses and intersecting streets.

None of the roads coming into this roundabout offer the advantage of street lights.

It would seem that in the process of design of this particular roundabout, the idea of safety lighting was not considered.

I would suggest that one street light pole be installed in the middle of the circle with four lights branching out to light each of the roads entering the roundabout.

If this is not rectified, there will be wrecks in this roundabout that it was supposed to prevent.
