The letter, “Road Work,” (PDN, Aug. 10) hit the nail on the head.
Before, I had no problem with the traffic lights or curbs downtown, or Race Street.
They literally made it worse and then, if they finish off Race Street, you will make it impossible to use.
And to take a perfectly good parking lot and dig it up.
You should be fixing the rest of Marine Drive into Port Angeles with black top pavement.
Or making a right-hand turn lane at the intersection of Race Street and Lauridsen Boulevard going south.
The bump going down from the college. The list is endless.
Our streets are terrible, and we pay taxes to fix them.
Instead, you’re wasting our money on ridiculous projects.
The writer isn’t missing anything, but our city council is.
