LETTER: Medical backgrounds

News of the Olympic Medical Center’s impeding insolvency and threat of losing Medicare and Medicaid compensation should frighten all of us, regardless of our political leanings.

The loss of OMC would be a true life-changing tragedy.

Therefore, the election on Nov. 4 is of the utmost importance.

I favor two candidates with medical backgrounds, Laurie Force and Gerald Stephanz, both running for the hospital’s board of directors.

I have noticed that campaign signs of these two candidates have disappeared from various thoroughfares in Sequim, taken by an unknown perpetrator. Signs for the incumbent remain untouched nearby.

This is a non-partisan election that affects us all.

Please vote on Nov. 4.
