The Trump political cult intends to destroy Social Security and Medicare by using their benefit funds to repay the national debt and cut taxes for themselves.
Nothing will destroy the fabric of American society as profoundly.
It will disenfranchise tens of millions with grinding poverty, sickness, death and homelessness.
One cult genius, Elon Musk, absurdly describes how they will destroy Social Security and Medicare by stating, “If the massive deficit spending continues, there will only be money for interest payments and nothing else! No Social Security, no medical, no defense … nothing.”
This is premeditated nonsense. It ignores a central element of national fiscal policy, increased taxation to pay for deficit spending.
There is no national debt crisis.
The crisis is that this billionaire cult does not want to repay what they borrowed for their criminal wars, unwarranted tax cuts and criminal finance-induced recession over the last several decades.
Hence, to solve the debt problem, Republicans have to address what caused the problem.
They have to raise taxes to repay the national debt they caused; cease its illegitimate wars and warmongering; and cease recessionary policies, especially high-risk, bogus financial schemes.
Since Social Security never added anything to the national debt, its benefits should never be confiscated to pay for U.S. debt reduction or tax cuts for the wealthy.
Americans in both parties need to get into this fight and take this criminal cult to the mat in the November 2026 elections.
