LA SlimWrap

A couple of weeks ago when Debbie shouted around the office that the much talked about LA SlimWrap was coming to Australia and would any of us lucky beautyheaveners like to try it, I jumped at the chance.

After quickly googling the LA SlimWrap I discovered that Hollywood heavyweights such as Kris Jenner, Minnie Driver, Tyra Banks and my favourite, Ellen DeGeneres were all screaming praise for the LA Slim Wrap! I have long believed, if it’s good enough for Ellen its good enough for me!

After watching Afsi Naim, founder of LA SlimWrap, wrap Kim Zolciak on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Melbournian Katrina Lukey jumped on a plane to LA to meet Afsi and train in the treatment.

So after trolling through numerous positive reviews of the LA SlimWrap, including clients who had seen immediate slimming of up to 20 inches, I was very much looking forward to my trial. On arrival for my wrap I met with both Afsi and Katrina who explained to me exactly how the wrap works; the bandages are soaked in a detoxifying blend of minerals and nutrients and are then wrapped TIGHTLY around the body. As toxins are drawn out and removed from the body, empty pockets are formed and the compression of the LA SlimWrap results in a loss of inches as well as nourished and tightened skin.

So I was wrapped neck to toe and lead into a room in which I bounced up and down (lightly) on a trampoline for 4 slots of 15 mins. At each interval I was re “pasted” with more of the nutrient solution and after 60 mins of jumping I was ready to unwrap, and busting to pee!

And….. taa daa I lost a total of 16.5cm from across my body, my pants were looser, I felt lighter and my skin was firm yet somehow felt softer and plumper. Not only could you physically see the results I also felt great, although that could have been the endorphins from 60 mins of jumping but either way I felt good.
