The Workout Routine Responsible For Newly-Divorced Jessica Alba’s Revenge Body

Jessica Alba has always been one of Hollywood’s most gorgeous exports.

From her days popping and locking in nothing but a crop top and baggy jeans in Honey, to diving for treasure in a triangle bikini in Into The Blue, and battling bad guys in a skin tight hero suit in Fantastic Four — she’s never been lacking in the bombshell bod department.

But over the last two decades Jessica has been focusing on her business, Honest Beauty, and raising her three children, so naturally her film footprint has been a lot smaller by comparison.

However, since announcing her divorce from her husband of 20 years, Cash Warren, in February, Jessica’s been focusing on her fitness, and she’s even made her way back onto our screens by sharing her journey on TikTok. She’s always been slim, but now the actress and beauty founder is starting to gain definition in her arms, legs and abs, and it’s impressive to see.

In fact, when she arrived to the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party in early March we had to do a double take, because her waist looked so snatched in her Dolce and Gabbana gown.

Jessica Alba’s Workout Routine:

1/ HIIT Circuit Training

To get Jessica in an optimal fat burning heart rate range, her personal trainer Ramona incorporates High Intensity Interval Training (otherwise known as HIIT) into her weekly workout routine. The pair will usually cycle through a variety of circuit training exercises while doing this too. This ensures Jessica is targeting more than one section of her body, improving her strength, and her stamina by incorporating a combination of weights, cycling, running, and other activities into her workouts.

2/ Yoga

On the days that Jessica feels like moving her body, but doesn’t want to over do it she turns to yoga. A few simple asanas first thing in the morning allows her to awaken her muscles, encourage blood flow, and recharge her body and mind.

3/ Reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates is the current workout du jour of celebrities and working women alike, so we’re not surprised to see that this is a prevalent part of Jessica’s exercise regimen. Regular practice promotes that lean, but toned, figure we’ve noticed the actress has been sporting lately.

4/ Soul Cycle

Soul Cycle is another trendy workout, which you typically have to haul ass to your gym to enjoy. But Jessica has a Soul Cycle bike in her home gym, giving her access to the fitness brand’s most popular, heart rate hiking rides from the comfort of her own home. Honestly, it sounds like a much more relaxing experience than the strobe light and house music synonymous with the high intensity workout classes.

5/ Weight Training

As any tenured athlete will tell you — weight training is integral if you’re trying to burn fat. Why? Regularly incorporating weights into your workout helps to build muscle, and the higher your muscle content, the easier it is for your body to burn fat while you exercise. This is because muscles are ‘metabolically active’, which means that even when you’re not working out, your body will burn calories.

6/ Boxing

Boxing is another workout that Jessica relies on to improve multiple aspects of her physicality at once. The exercise improves agility and strength, as well as providing a pretty comprehensive cardio workout.

7/ Stretching

To keep her body functioning at it’s best, and minimise potential injuries, Jessica always makes sure to cool down and stretch after her workouts with the help of her personal trainer Ramona, of course.

  1. ahhh to have her bank account to be able to do all the things! I just bought a at home full specturm infrared sauna – i reckon its a great health work out hack! By far the most bougie thing I’ve every spent so much $$ on! but i do love it! No regrets!

  2. All that exercise must take up a lot of time. She does have an envious body though so it’s worth it I guess. I want to incorporate weights in my exercise. Not sure about boxing for me though.
