Margot Robbie’s makeup gets a lot of attention. As it should; it’s picture perfect every single time. Margot’s hair, however, is what we can’t get over right now.

In the years since her Barbie movie era, Margot has made a serious case for a more lived-in shade of blonde. And though her hair has always looked healthy (even when more heavily bleached), her latest looks are showcasing a level of shine and smoothness we refuse to move on from.

And so we didn’t. Instead, we sleuthed out her exact haircare routine via her incredible hair stylist Bryce Scarlett. You’re incredibly welcome…

We already know her favourite perfume and her handy lipstick hack. So what are the secrets behind Margot’s hair? Let’s discuss…

What Shampoo Does Margot Robbie Use?

Hair stylist Bryce Scarlett just dropped her full routine, noting that it starts the same way. “Shampoo and condition with Gloss Absolu Shampoo and Conditioner,” Scarlett suggests if you want to take Margot’s glossy lead.

So how does Bryce get Margot’s hair so bouncy whilst keeping it so glossy and glazed-looking? Here are his tips for creating volume and shine with one routine.

“On wet hair, apply Mousse Bouffante ($84.05 at Naturitas) to the roots and Gloss Absolu Anti-Frizz Glaze Milk ($81 at Adore Beauty) through the mid-lengths and ends,” Bryce shares.

“Blow dry using a large round brush for volume and a smooth finish [before] using a 2-inch barrel curling iron [to] take sections of hair and softly curl them towards the face,” says Bryce.

“Brush out the curls with a boar bristle brush, [then] apply a small amount of Glaze Drops ($75 at Adore Beauty) to your hands and smooth over the hair for shine and a polished finish.”

One last step! “Spray Laque Couture Hair Spray ($84.05 at Naturitas) all over for hold,” he adds.

See, it’s possible: glossy hair that doesn’t read as oily, with plenty of body and bounce. Margot’s hair routine proves it.

  2. Kérastase products are not cheap but they are awesome and I have found that as you only need to use such a small amount of product that they last so much longer than cheaper brands.
