When I was five years old I lived in London for a year. I don’t remember much from my time there, but I do have one very poignant memory: the time my grandparents took me and my brother berry picking in the English countryside. It was a beautiful sunny day, and we were positively beyond ourselves with excitement when we were given little baskets and set loose amongst the raspberry bushes and strawberry patches. And of course you can imagine our delight when we were then allowed to eat the fruits of our labours (no pun intended!)
So it’s with a warm, fuzzy heart full of nostalgia that I introduce to you the newest member of the Jo Malone fragrance family: Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay. Inspired by childhood memories of blackberry picking, the perfume combines the tartness of blackberry juice and grapefruit with the freshness of bay to give you a top note hit that’s guaranteed to lift your spirits. The perfume then unfolds with the soft, delicate fragrance of flowers, vetiver and cedarwood, for a rich, seductive finish reminiscent of languid days in the English countryside.
Wear it on its own, or spritz together with Lime Basil & Mandarin for a peppery, citrus zest. Alternatively, for a scent that’s more fresh than sweet, pair it with a spritz of Nectarine Blossom & Honey.
Love the sound of this perfume? Then you’ll love the fact that it’s also available in a Body Crème, Body & Hand Wash, and a Home Candle, so you can surround yourself in the scent from top-to-toe and in your home!

What childhood memories do berries conjour up for you? Have you ever tried any Jo Malone fragrances? What do you think about this new scent?
Do love berries in fragrances though! Cherries (TF lost cherry, JPG Scandal by night), blackberry in Gucci guilty absolute is gorg, raspberry in Julliette has a gun Mmmm etc
Dislike JM frags. Lasting power and scents are underperformers. And not very good quality.
