When I was five years old I lived in London for a year. I don’t remember much from my time there, but I do have one very poignant memory: the time my grandparents took me and my brother berry picking in the English countryside. It was a beautiful sunny day, and we were positively beyond ourselves with excitement when we were given little baskets and set loose amongst the raspberry bushes and strawberry patches. And of course you can imagine our delight when we were then allowed to eat the fruits of our labours (no pun intended!)
