We’re feeling a whole lot of things during this era of social distancing, but an overall sense of calm certainly isn’t one of them.
One perk of staying indoors though, is that you have full control over how your space smells – and we’ll bet it’s filled with fragrances a whole lot more pleasant than the train station.
Want to whip up some banana bread or fill your living room with lavender to get the cosy aromas going? We support that. Want to cheat the system by lighting a candle, spritzing a room spray or setting up a diffuser instead? We support that even more.
So if you’re searching for scents to soothe your senses during this stressful time, we’ve rounded up the calming home fragrances bound to get your home smelling serene.

Natio
A room spray concocted to evoke the experience of visiting a fragrant cottage garden (does that not sound like the most serene thing ever?!), it’s made up of floral and fruity elements of lavender and lemon.
I'm using fragrances I have when in the mood for it. Or incense. Most of the time I prefer clean fresh air scent , especially of freshly cut grass from the park in front of my place.
It's amazing how natural fragrances can affect your mood. I'm loving the Bosisto's range at the moment. Sleep is calming and soothing perfect on my pillow and Balance is a feel good fragrant blend of naturals oils just for women.
Oh I love this!!
I've tried some of the Natio room sprays which are quite pleasant.
I love caramel , but I don't like caramel scented candles. I prefer floral or fresh scents for my home.
Love natural crisp smells!!!
The In Essence Therapeutic candle and the Stress Less Room Spray are my picks of these
I love essential oils, candles and room sprays
This is perfect for relief stress.
I love candles and melts in my home
I love candles but prefer room sprays
That Glasshouse – Vanilla Caramel diffuser sounds delicious!
I tried some In Essence candles a few years ago and not all of them were great. I didn't know that had some new scent variations, so I might give them a go one day.
The Glasshouse Vanilla Caramel sounds yummy.
Glasshouse Tahaa is absolutely divine!
Vanilla Caramel sounds divine and what a good present it would make.
White tea candle is lovely
I love the Ecoya candles, such beautiful scents
The Elizabeth Arden candle sounds right up my alley – I love tonka bean & the product review page says it contains a trio of musks, too! Their Green Tea perfume is one of my summer faves, so I'd like to try this one out.
I really like walking past shops that have a nice smell, e.g. Dusk, but cannot use them in my house as my daughter gets hayfever when I use candles or such .
That Glasshouse diffuser sounds delicious!
I have'nt tried any of these. …yet. I love the sprays sensori make, a few other brands are very average. But now I have a good idea of what I will be trying next.
I love home fragrances!
I just need something to cover my son's teenage stink!
The In Essence therapeutic candle sounds lovely
They all sound amazing.

Tahaa is my absolute favourite!
Circa home and Glasshouse have really good scents
i love home fragrance. Really sets a mood
I'm using the A Tahaa Affair diffuser at the moment. The scent throw was okay in the beginning, but now I can't notice it unless I'm right next to the diffuser.
I had a wonderful fragrance diffuser but I didn't note the name and now some just don't do the trick and smell worse than without.
Circa home have the most divine candles so would definitely love to try out there diffuser’s.
I love the Circa Home Diffuser Sea Salt and Vanilla range. Very homey 🙂
