Where to reach mums in Melbourne to build my cake portfolio

Hi everyone! I’m looking to build my portfolio. I’d love to make some fun, kid-themed cakes at a discounted price.ive been baking cakes forever and recently decided to register with the council and start it as a business. My problem is most kids cakes I’ve made before (nephews) I’ve either taken bad pics or forgotten to take any. So now I want to build my portfolio since most people are looking for kids cakes and I have zero in my portfolio. All the fb mum groups won’t allow posts unless you advertise with them.

    Get some photos of your own and then advertise on facebook. You can target your advertising to certain demographics. You don’t have to make a whole cake to get your photos. You can mock up a cake using your cake tins. Once the cake tins are iced no one will know there is no cake underneath.

    I’m not sure what you are after. are you asking other mums and bakers to allow you to use their cake photos? Wouldn’t that be a misrepresentation?

    Anyway, good luck. If I was in Melbourne I would definitely look you up.
