I bought my sister a cup and saucer in T2 as they were 30% off (cursing I bought tea with my birthday voucher a few weeks earlier at 10% off!). I also got a dress that had 30% off the sale price so didn’t do too badly. I was looking at new running shoes but the ones I wanted weren’t in the sale.

No skincare, but I did buy organic wild blueberry powder which is good for my skin too.

I bought a few Covergirl Aquasmooth cream compacts for my mum (she loves those). For myself, I bought Neutrogena Hyaluronic Acid serum, Dolce and Gabbana Devotion perfume and their newly launched lipstick, Peter Thomas Roth cloud cream, laundry detergent and other home related stuff and few packs of Lotus Biscoff.

I spent too much…but they were bulk buys so theres my justification!
Rosemary oil for my hair and some some face masks and brightening honey essence serum from Lila Beauty
Bosistos had 40% off so I stocked up on dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, body washes and oils
My favourite tea place, Tea Tonic had 30% off so I stocked up on yummy flavoured teas!
Also bought alot of useless junk from Shein: earrings, a top a cardigan and some stationery -

Thank you for you lovely reply Lucy16 ,we live in a retirement village so yes we have some good support. He has Parkinson’s and there is no cure, some days he is not too bad others days well I will say no more. Makes for an interesting life! As we are in now in our 80’s we take each day as it comes.

Hi @Shaper. I’m very glad you have supports around you. I was a primary carer for my late Mum who had younger onset Alzheimer’s. It could be incredibly lonely at times. For over 23 years, one of my good mates has been primary carer for her father who has Parkinson’s. It’s no easy journey! Again, sending heaps of warm vibes your way!
