    I bought the grippy serum primer the other day and have used it all week. I quite like it. Great timing it came out as mine I have been using for years, got discontinued so was on the hunt for a new primer.

      You’re absolutely right — a grippy moisturizer can still be hydrating if it locks in water and helps keep the skin barrier protected. The “grip” usually comes from ingredients that create a lightweight film on the skin so makeup stays in place, but that doesn’t mean it can’t also deliver moisture.

      I’ve personally been using Nutrify Skin’s moisturizer, which is hydrating but also absorbs quickly without feeling heavy or greasy. It gives that balance between hydration and smoothness, which is perfect if you want your skin to feel fresh while still nourished.
