Anyone Here Tried Making Their Own Perfume at Home?

Hi everyone!

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with making my own perfumes at home. It started as a hobby, but I’ve really started to enjoy learning about different notes and how they blend together.

So far, I’ve tried recreating a few of my favourite scents like YSL Libre and Valentino Born in Roma. It’s been fun (and sometimes challenging) to get the balance right!

Has anyone else here tried DIY perfumery?

Would love to know what ingredients or notes you love working with, or if you have any beginner tips to share.

Excited to hear your experiences!

I’ve looked into this a bit, some use essential oils for natural blends, while others mix in synthetics for longer-lasting scents. It’s all about balancing top, middle, and base notes. Seems like trial and error is a big part of the process. It would be great to hear tips from anyone who’s tried it!

No I haven’t and have no inclination to make my own perfume but will watch your post with interest to see if anyone has tried to do it PerfumeLearner and to read about your progress. Good luck.
