PORT ANGELES — Tickets are on sale for the Port Angeles Food Bank’s fourth Empty Bowls fundraiser set for Sept. 13.
The annual event will be at the Naval Elks Lodge, 131 E. First St., Port Angeles.
Tickets are $75 per person or $500 for a table of eight at www.portangelesfoodbank.org/empty-bowls.
Over winter, a group of 16 potters met at Fairview Lakes Studios in Sequim to throw more than 100 stoneware bowls for the fundraiser.
The clay, glazes and kiln firing for the project were donated by studio owners Brian and Wendy Fuller.
Attendees at the dinner will receive one of these food- and dishwater-safe bowls to take home.
