PORT ANGELES — Registration is open until Sept. 20 for classes and workshops at the fourth Pacific Northwest Fiber Arts Expo set for Oct. 3-5.
The annual exposition will offer more than 20 different sessions at the Vern Burton Center in Port Angeles.
Registration costs from $45 to $130, depending upon the class. More information is available at www.pnwfiberx.com.
Classes include painting with wool, eco-printing, crocheting dragon scales, exploring northwest wools, color in tapestry weaving and mosaic knitting.
The expo will include demonstrations of spindle and wheel spinning, needle felting, rug hooking and triangle loom weaving, as well as projects to make and take.
The expo also will offer a marketplace from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 4 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 5.
New for this year, the expo will collaborate with the Peninsula Fiber Artists to present a fashion show at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 4 at Field Arts & Events Hall, 201 W. Front St., Port Angeles.
