PORT TOWNSEND — Bill Evans will present a farewell performance “Bill Evans 85!” at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The dance recital will be at JFK Hall, 246 Alexanders Loop, Port Townsend.
The two-hour performance will showcase rhythm tap, sketch comedy and modern dance.
Admission is $25, payable by cash, check or Venmo at the door.
Evans will be joined by longtime collaborator Don Halquist along with Lauren Ehnebuske Davis, Abbie Doll, Ashley A. Friend, Anna Hansen, Camille Hildebrandt and Stephanie Sanders.
Many of these dancers are in town for the 26th Evans Teacher Gathering, an annual celebration of the technique, artistry and pedagogy of dance.
