PORT ANGELES — Citizen Air will host the Banff Center Mountain Film Festival’s World Tour at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The tour will screen a selection if short films at Field Arts & Events Hall, 201 W. Front St., Port Angeles.
Tickets are $27 per person each night or $42 for a two-day pass at www.fieldhall events.org/tickets.
The Banff Festival began in 1976 in Banff, Alberta, as a small gathering of climbers and outdoor enthusiasts and has grown into one of the world’s premier showcases of mountain culture and outdoor adventure.
The festival’s World Tour has shared films with audiences worldwide for more than 30 years.
“As a local aviation company, we’re connected to the same landscapes that inspire these films — rugged coastlines, soaring peaks and the wild beauty of the Peninsula,” said Kelly Kidwell, founder and CEO of Citizen Air. “Supporting the Banff Festival is our way of celebrating that spirit of adventure right here in our community.”
