Two sentenced after Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team investigations

PORT ANGELES — A Port Angeles resident and a Sequim resident each have been sentenced for drug-related charges after Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team investigations.

Christopher Allen Bayley, 42, of Sequim pleaded guilty May 9 to three counts of being in possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, according to an OPNET news release.

OPNET members observed Bayley sell small amounts of heroin in the Sequim area in September. He was arrested by Sequim officers for an outstanding warrant.

Meth, Suboxone

OPNET investigators said they searched his vehicle and found 2.4 grams of heroin, 2.2 grams of methamphetamine and eight packages of the prescription medication Suboxone.

He was sentenced May 9 to a year in prison, after which he will be supervised by the state Department of Corrections for eight months and pay a fine of $900.

Theodore Henry Blahm, 36, of Port Angeles pleaded guilty May 16 to delivery of a controlled substance.

“This charge was filed after OPNET developed probable cause that Blahm was selling heroin in the Port Angeles area,” according to the news release.

Sentencing

Blahm was sentenced to two years of DOC supervision, three to six months of drug treatment and a fine of $1,300.
