PORT ANGELES — A tiny home parked at Deer Park Road residence and stolen sometime between Monday and Tuesday was recovered shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday in Gales Addition, according to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.
A social media post by the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office reported that the home — bearing an Oregon license plate number — was stolen from a residence in the 3000 block of Deer Park Road.
The owners were out of town but neighbors noticed it was missing, the post said. A green awning was left by the thieves at the home’s site and tire tracks indicated the thieves were headed north toward U.S. Highway 101.
Chief Criminal Deputy Amy Bundy confirmed in a Wednesday morning email that the house was recovered after being located in Gales Addition.
