Woman wakes up to man in bedroom

SEQUIM — City police are seeking a man who reportedly entered a woman’s home in the early morning hours recently.

At approximately 2:30 a.m. last Thursday, a resident in the 500 block of West Eunice Street was awakened by an unknown male in her bedroom, according to a police report.

After an argument with the resident, the male suspect left the house willingly.

The resident called 9-1-1 to report the intruder. Sequim Police Department officers and Clallam County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene but were unable to locate the suspect.

After an investigation by Sequim police it was determined that the man had entered the home through an open window.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s with dark eyes, very dark blond or brown hair that was shaved on the sides, and longer brushed back hair on the top.

The suspect is approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 130 to 140 pounds with no facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a black sweater, jeans and black shoes, according to Sequim police.

The Sequim Police Department can be reached at 360-683-7227.
