Driver in rollover unhurt

Man’s vehicle destroyed

PORT ANGELES — The driver of a vehicle involved in an early Wednesday morning rollover on state Highway 112 was impaired and not wearing a seat belt, the State Patrol said in a memo.

Harold R. Heagy, 51, of Port Angeles was treated at Olympic Medical Center and discharged, an OMC spokesperson said Wednesday afternoon.

In a press memo, the State Patrol listed driving under the influence as a charge against him.

Heagy was eastbound at 2 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 112 near Eden Valley Road when his 1999 Ford crossed the center line, collided with an embankment, overturned and came to rest on the passenger side, the State Patrol said.

Heagy’s vehicle was destroyed, troopers said.
