Clallam County Sheriff’s Office probing Carlsborg burglary

CARLSBORG — The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at Sunny Farms Country Store.

Deputy Mark Titterness took a burglary report Wednesday at Sunny Farms, 261461 U.S. Highway 101, after the report of the 4 a.m. burglary.

Surveillance photos taken at about 4 a.m. are available to the deputies.

The Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that the burglars were small in stature because they fit through a hole about 16 inches by 20 inches.

The burglars were carrying a sledgehammer, pry bar and what appeared to be a tan military-style or hiking backpack, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office said the burglary was still in the investigative stage and it was unknown what was taken.

Sgt. Eric Munger said no other information about the burglary was available Thursday.

Deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individuals in the photos, available at www. peninsuladailynews.com.
