Clallam Bay woman accused of felony hit and run

PORT ANGELES — A Clallam Bay woman is scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Clallam County Superior Court on a felony hit-and-run charge after she was arrested June 9 at a Sekiu residence.

Alisha Marie Callihoo, 41, of Clallam Bay was booked into Clallam County jail on June 9 for investigation of hit and run-injury, second-degree negligent driving, third-degree driving while license suspended and driving without an interlock device.

A criminal complaint against Callihoo was filed June 12 in Clallam County Superior Court on all but the negligent driving charge.

According to a Clallam County Sheriff’s Office press release, deputies were called at about 3:40 p.m. June 8 to a residence on Eagle Crest Way in Clallam Bay regarding a woman who had been pinned between two vehicles.

When deputies arrived, the woman was talking with the Clallam Bay ambulance crew members, the release said.

Deputies said that, according to the victim and a witness, Callihoo allegedly had accidentally backed her vehicle into the victim and pinned her against a vehicle parked in the driveway.

Then Callihoo left the scene and initial attempts to locate her were unsuccessful, the release said.

The victim was flown to Providence Hospital in Everett with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Callihoo was located at 11 a.m. June 9 in a Sekiu-area residence, arrested and booked into Clallam County jail, the release said.
