Arraignment for man charged with Frugals robbery moved to July 3

PORT ANGELES — The arraignment of a man who faces criminal charges related to a robbery at Frugals in December has been moved to 1 p.m. on July 3.

Clallam County Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Stanley assigned defense attorney Lane Wolfley to Anthony Lewis Reynolds, 36, on Friday after Reynolds’ public defender, Seth Doherty, recused himself, citing a conflict of interest.

Reynolds has been charged with two counts of first-degree robbery, two counts of first-degree kidnapping and one count of first-degree burglary, all Class A felonies; motor vehicle theft, a Class B felony; and second-degree theft, a Class C felony.

He remained in Clallam County Jail on Friday on a $200,000 bond.

A second suspect in the robbery, Burton C.B. “Bill” Brown, 59, remains at large. He is described as about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. The Port Angeles Police Department asks that anyone with information on Brown’s whereabouts to call 360-452-4545.
