Breathtaking beauty: Tahyna Tozzi

From Bluewater High to X-Men Origins, this pint-sized Aussie starlet has taken Hollywood (and the world) by storm.

The gorgeous triple threat has steaks in the singing, acting and modelling worlds, and is also now embracing her newest role as Ambassador for Australis Cosmetics and its latest Mineral Colour Inject range.
Lucky for us, Tozzi could spare some time to spill the beans on her beauty icons, date night essentials and why a white suit on a first date is a huge deal-breaker…

What’s the most interesting or unique beauty product you own?

I like trying different natural products. I guess pure coconut oil is my latest beauty obsession. It feels so great on your skin and smells so good. There is also another product with all natural oils called Egyptian Magic – it’s a pretty incredible product.

The best beauty tip I’ve ever heard is…

Keep it simple.

Name a worst-ever beauty blunder.

Probably attacking and picking at a breakout before the weekend. Not a good look!

Who’s your beauty icon and why?

Sophia Loren. She epitomises effortless beauty and sexuality.

What’s on your bedside table?

Lip balm, glass of water and the book I’m reading.

What’s the last beauty item you’ve bought?

All natural Rose water spray for the face and body. Super hydrating!

What’s the most interesting place you’ve travelled to and why?

I’ve been to so many interesting places that I really can’t pick one alone. I adore travelling. I love visiting and learning about different cultures – it somehow refreshes my soul.

What must-have beauty product would you not leave home without?

Lip balm (any kind is good), Australis cheek and lip tint and Australis concealer.

If you were shipwrecked on a desert island what three beauty products would you want with you?

Sunscreen, Lucas Papaw Ointment and tweezers. (I feel that tweezers would come in handy in a few circumstances on a deserted island.)

If you weren’t doing this job you’d be…?

Lost I would say.

Let’s talk date night…

What is your favourite date night fragrance?

Bvlgari Rose Essentielle. It’s very subtle but beautiful – I love rose-based fragrances.

What style / shades of make-up are you likely to wear for a date?

I keep it very clean and simple. I try to go for a natural look and use golden/brown or neutral shades. I think that for a first date you don’t want to wear too much make-up, it’s best to keep your look minimal.

What are your date night beauty essentials?

Make-up wise my essentials include, lip gloss (Australis Colour Inject range is perfect for such an occasion), eyeliner and a good mascara.

What is your fail-safe date night look?

Whatever makes me feel comfortable and confident – I honestly don’t have a look that I would consider fail-safe as it depends on how and what I’m feeling.

Can you recall a worst date?

I haven’t really been on many dates. I guess there was one that sticks out in my mind. He wore a white suit, enough said!!
