Every Makeup Product Celine Dion Wore At The Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony

If you’re like us, the Olympics opening ceremony was more a showing of all the brilliant talent rather than the actual sports to come (sorry athletes). Namely, we couldn’t keep our eyes off the effervescent Celine Dion.

Our hearts will forever go on for the singer, but that performance showcased what a true talent she is. And although there’s been 28 years between this performance and her first Olympics appearance (at the 1996 Atlanta games), we think she looks even more flawless now, than she did then.

So, we just had to go and found out what was used to create her age-defying, flawless look…

Before we launch into the what, we’re going to have a quick look into the who. Sofia Tilbury (AKA the niece of the talented Charlotte Tilbury) was in charge of creating the ethereal, breathtaking look. Sofia wanted the look to focus on “flawless, beautiful skin with soft contour, a mesmerising eye and a nude lip”.

So, obviously when it comes to taking the stage, a round up of Charlotte Tilbury is it. It’s rare that you see powder and liquid products blend so well, but we guess that’s a testament to the Charlotte Tilbury quality. To start off Sofia used the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation ($70 at Charlotte Tilbury). And then followed with a blush and bronzer combo that we all need in our lives. And to set at all in place (a must), Sofia used a combo of products. When Sofia said she wanted to create an ‘mesmerising’ eye, she really took it in her stead to create the most glimmering, gorgeous standout look. And the shimmery look was all down to one beautiful palette, the Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette in ‘Queen of Glow’ ($89 at Charlotte Tilbury) (read: next on our wish list) gave her the glittering glint in her eyes. And there we have a face full of mature skin-friendly makeup. Although, it’s actually not the first time Charlotte Tilbury’s products have been used to create perfect centre stage makeup, many stars actually sported the skin-perfecting products at the Met Gala.
