PORT ANGELES — Here is this week’s schedule for the 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Todd Ortloff Show on KONP 1450 AM, 101.7 FM in Port Angeles, 101.3 FM in Sequim and myclallamcounty.com on the internet outside the Port Angeles area.

This week’s scheduled lineup:

Monday – Master Gardeners Judy English and Jeanette Stehr- Green.

Second segment – Sam Grello, Executive Director of the Port Angeles Waterfront District, discussing The Big Spring Spruce Up and how the community can be involved.

Third segment – Anna Pederson Unger and Emma Gilliam discussing the Sequim High School Operetta Club’s spring musical “Oklahoma!”

Tuesday – Jessica McKenzi, Mindy Gelder and Kirah Solomon from the Port Angeles Community Players, discussing their upcoming play “CLUE: On Stage.”

Second segment – Jonathan Pasternack, Creative Director and Conductor of the Port Angeles Symphony Orchestra, discussing their upcoming program featuring soloist Josu de Solaun, playing Beethoven, plus Shostakovich’s 10th.

Third segment – Reckless Son, a show written and performed by singer-songwriter Matt Butler, was inspired by his journey performing over 100 concerts in jails and prisons across the country. This powerful performance will be at Field Arts & Events Hall on May 3rd.

Wednesday – Seattle Mariners baseball, sponsored by Leitz Farm Supply & Equipment Sales.

Thursday – Beatriz Arakawa, Domestic Violence Advocate for the Lower Elwha Family Services Program; Sam White, Lower Elwha Chief of Police and on two sub-committees for the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples Task Force, one of which he leads; and Tor Parker, Victim/Witness Advocate/Case Coordinator, Criminal Justice Division, Cold Case Unit, MMIWP, Office of the Attorney General Nick Brown; discussing May 5 National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous People.

Second segment – New York Times best-selling author Bill Forstchen, ph.D., explaining the science behind an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) and the devastating hour-by-hour impact on a community.
