NatureBridge teachers’ workshop slated for August

PORT ANGELES — NatureBridge will conduct a workshop Aug. 5-8 for kindergarten through 12th-grade teachers.

The resident workshop will be held at NatureBridge’s Olympic National Park campus, 111 Barnes Point Road.

The workshop features presentations by rangers and researchers on the ways to use technology to connect students with the park.

The workshop costs $200 per teacher.

The U.S. Park Service will provide 20 Washington state clock hours and reimburse the full tuition to teachers who complete the course and submit a lesson plan.
