TUMWATER — Two Clallam Bay Corrections Center employees were recently awarded with the Department of Corrections’ annual agency awards.
The awards recognize the employee’s work for the department. Individuals are nominated by their colleagues.
Mark Welch, a corrections and custody officer, was recognized as Correctional Officer of the Year.
Marie DeOng, classification counselor, received the Innovation Team Award.
